Fulton Companies Expansion Project Earns Construction Industry Honor

Pulaski, NY — The Companies (www.fulton.com), the global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products, has been awarded a Time to Build Award for its recently completed $10.5 million facility expansion project.

The annual Time to Build Award, sponsored by First Niagara banking and financial services, recognizes significant achievements in building and construction projects in upstate New York. The Fulton project team was among more than twenty nominees recognized at the Time to Build Award luncheon held in Syracuse, NY.

The Fulton Project Team includes MacKnight Architects (Syracuse, NY), Palucci Engineering (Liverpool, NY), and General Contractor Hayner Hoyt Corporation (Syracuse, NY). Fulton also has an on-staff Architect.

The facility expansion features production efficiencies that are already allowing for increased response to customer demands, said Mark Hilton, Fulton’s Vice President of Manufacturing. The new facility has provided the opportunity to expand Fulton’s product lines, Hilton said.

The expansion’s manufacturing space is now fully functioning; office space transitions are underway.

“Our partnership with the project team (MacKnight, Hayner Hoyt, and Palucci) has been instrumental in completing a project that had its share of difficulties,” Hilton said. An accelerated construction schedule, harsh winter weather conditions, and site water table issues all played a role in project completion, Hilton said.
