Central New York Economic and Job Development Authority Presents Fulton Companies with Jobs Award

Pulaski, NY — The Fulton Companies (www.fulton.com), the global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products, has been named the recipient of a Jobs Award in recognition of its significant investment in the creation and retention of jobs in Central New York.

The annual award, presented by Operation Oswego County (N.Y.), brought together more than 140 representatives of regional business, government, education, labor and other various organizations for the announcement.

The Jobs Award was presented to Fulton for its contribution to the regional economy by investing in a $13.5 million, 112,000 square foot expansion of its manufacturing and office complex located within the geographic region served by the economic and job development authority.

"We are honored to receive the Jobs Award," said Kevin LaMontagne, chief financial officer of the Fulton Companies. "Through their tireless hard work and dedication, Fulton's growing workforce is the single biggest contributor to its success."

In tandem with the completion of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing and office facility, Fulton has created more than 50 new manufacturing jobs, and continues to grow. Located about 30 miles north of Syracuse, N.Y., Fulton is among the largest employers in a rural county that registers some of New York State's highest unemployment rates.

The Operation Oswego County group is governed by a volunteer, 30-member Board of Directors comprised of local business and community leaders who strive for economic growth policies.

The addition of jobs and space provides Fulton with the capabilities to keep up with business demands. It has allowed for the manufacture of larger products in the commercial and industrial heat transfer market, and broadened the scope for custom order fulfillment.
